Almost every day as I go in to the building at my job, I see Mr. K sitting in his mini van with a clip board in hand, preparing for another day's work. He waves and smiles like everything will be all right and I wave back, but not before yelling out, "Good morning!"
One day as I was getting out the car, weighted down with the usual burden of an over-sized handbag stuffed with my planner, meds, gum, a journal, a laptop bag, my lunch box and a coffee mug, Mr. K rolled his window down and said, "Dina, you need to lighten your load."
The man had no idea that physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually, no words could ever be more true.
So, I'm getting ready to lighten my load.
