While at the doctor's office, this picture on the wall, titled, "Every Woman Should" intrigued me so much that I want to share it with you in this weekly series appropriately named: "Every Woman Should". Every Tuesday, I write about the next line in the poem/essay. Of course, I would love to hear about your experiences on the topic in either the comment section or on your blog. (Just grab the badge on the sidebar, but please be sure to link back here).
Line 11 tells us that every woman should: Be able to discuss first and ten...
I can't. I can't discuss "first and ten" or "second or twenty". I don't really know anything about football, but I'll tell you what I do want to know. How is it that those guys are able to get knocked down and ran over, then just jump up like nothing happened? Seriously, how is that possible?
There was one time (more than once actually) I fell down the stairs and all I could do was lay there, immobilized by immediate pain. "Don't touch me." I'd say whispering to the dog, the children, my husband, the angels hovering above my lifeless body. "Just let me lay here until a better day comes along."
So, anyway about football...
Even though I might not know much about what's happening on the field, I do know that right now the Kansas City Chiefs are in a good place. Folks around here are a singin' and a skippin' and a huggin' like happy unicorns in a field of rainbow colored sunflowers.
And apparently, that's a good thing.
