One Christmas when the kids were younger and we were broke, we decided to make Christmas gifts for our family members by using whatever talents we had. It was a challenge because our talents varied from singing to writing to scribbling on the walls in crayon. So what we finally came up with was this little book. (Family members later told us that it was one of the best gifts they'd ever received).
I was home-schooling at the time and we were studying the various forms of poetry, so the kids created beautiful Haiku's and acrostics for a portion of the book. They also painted pictures and drew sketches. Mr. Man, a singer and guitarist, included a CD and lyrics of a beautiful and amazing love song he composed. One day I'll try to figure out how to upload here so you can listen to it.
And my contribution to the book was this very short story I wrote called "Liquidity".
