The cash drawer opened and on the register screen popped up an image that mirrored the cash drawer. On the screeen where the quarters were located was a visual of two quarters and where the pennies were located was a visual of three pennies. I was due back $.53. So, I guess, that in the event the cashier was unable to figure out how much change was due, a visual cue was there to help.
Okay... I know it's sort of difficult to learn how to count back change. Bugga Bear is learning this now --- in the fourth grade. When I home-schooled, Miss P struggled a little with this concept as well. But I'm thinking that by the time she has a job as a cashier in the grocery store, she should be able to have this down. Right?
What am I missing here? Is my slip showing?
